Evaluation of nitrogen content on pitting and repassivation behavior of a high alloy nickel‐reduced austenitic stainless steel

چکیده

The present study deals with the pitting and repassivation behavior of a nickel-reduced austenitic stainless steel different nitrogen contents. While promoted resistance to pitting, no significant effect on was found. also aims address experimental difficulties in determining potentials owing occurrence crevice corrosion. Furthermore, mechanism ongoing reactions investigated, indicating that initiated regions where manganese sulfide inclusions were next remaining δ-ferrite.
